An FCC licensed radio station, WGCC can heard up to 25 miles from the college on 90.7 FM MHz. Student and community DJs broadcast live from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, and a RealAudio stream is available 24 hours a day on the Internet. The station broadcasts rock music from independent record labels, including punk and heavy metal. Each November, WGCC produces Rockfest, a regional talent showcase held in the GCC Forum to an audience of 400 to 500.

The production studio uses digital software such as Cool Edit Pro both for selective editing such as reversing offensive words in a song, and for recording solo artists and trios in the station. The Audio Vault stores music, public service announcements, and promotions in a digital format.

In addition to the FM station, WGCC has an AM station in a separate studio that is used for training before broadcasting live.
